A section of Kipsigis leaders today paid a courtesy call to former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

All three politicians have differed with Deputy President William Ruto at one time or another.
Mr Rutto, who lost the governorship race to Dr Joyce Laboso, now deceased, was with Raila Odinga in Nasa in 2017 elections. He lost to Dr Laboso who was supported by Dr Ruto and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Mr Bett was Roads minister on Raila’s wing of the Grand Coalition government, having replaced Kipkalya Kones who died in a plane crash. He remained with Mr Odinga when Dr Ruto and Isaac Ruto led Kalenjin people out of Raila’s ODM party.
Mr Bett lost parliamentary seat and was appointed to chair the Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC).
Zakayo Cheruiyot, a powerful Internal Security PS under former president Moi, teamed up with Isaac Rutto in 2017, but lost his Kuresoi parliamentary seat.
